The battle sways in Mala's favor, but not for long. To be fair, this is no where near as easy as beating her brother. Mala was just making battle snark. I'm not sure how Vice is blocking the sword with lightning, she just is. Scholar mentioned that Vice would freak out if somebody hurt Iridescence (Which Mala totally did), so I considered changing my originally planned dialogue, but her freaking out about her brother fit the theme of the comic better.

Man...that look on Vice's face in the sixth panel. She looks like a total psychopath!
